Jump-start is an unicorporated organisation which is aimed at improving the lives of children, youths, disabled/the long term sick, their carers and those from high crime and deprivations by empowering them to change their situation through self help.

Jump-start aims to provide the opportunities for individuals from these groups to improve their lives by providing essential equipment, opportunites and training to enrich their lives and to assist in creating employment opportunities to change their situation.

Jump Start also aims to provide educational opportunities or equipment where state funding fails to meet the costs allowing their members to change their situation and enhancing the opportunity or improve their quality of life or employment opportunities.
